As I haven't bought this from Drop I can't write a review so I put it here.
It has been four months with this switches and after using them as they came for a few days I decided to lube them and that changed everything. Lubed they feel a lot better, softer and smoother at typing. I am not sure if I would call this a "fourth feel" but definitely feels different in a good way, is a mixture of linear and tactile that feels very balanced. I paired this with xda keycaps and a RK68 keyboard and it has become my main config for gaming and typing.
This switches were a very good surprise and I strongly suggest you to try them. If you love tactile switches, you should definitely try this.
For anyone wondering, the switch here, stock, is not so great. HOWEVER, the stem is neigh identical to the halo true stem, so you can use these to make a Holy Panda if you get some YOK switches from someplace like Bolsa Supply.
I bought this outside Drop, and besides they feel good to me when typing, is not the feeling I was especting. This are defenitly better than my browns but they lack a "something" that I am not sure what it is yet, maybe if the bump were more softer.
I have tried this switches as they came, no lub whatsoever. I have plans to do it later but I wanted to experience all the hype this Polia switches tell with this so-called fourth feel, I am not impressed.
You're going to pitch something with wacky concepts like a "fourth feel" and you can't be bothered to include a force curve?
Redditors even include force curves: reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/jjtbxp/kailh_polia_review/reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/jjtbxp/kailh_polia_review/ and they're not even selling anything!
Come on, man.
Has anyone come across an issue where the switches feel like they are sticking the first time you use them on they. I loaded up my machine today after a full use of the keyboard yesterday and they have a slight stick to them on the first press. Almost as if I were breaking glue? They are working again fine but its almost as if the factory lube had hardened?! Happened on at least 20 switches and now they are performing completely fine...
