KANTO SUB8 SUBWOOFER. Another Drop price miss. Pay $220.00 (and maybe additional shipping and certainly long wait/shipping time) OR Amazon for less.
I continue to wonder who, why, how Drop negotiates pricing with companies. It seems to be that more often than not, Drop's savings are miniscule if any AND the shipping time and sometimes shipping fees make no sense. However, I find things cheaper from Amazon consistently. For e.g., currently (12/5/2022) this Sub8, with several finish options, is on Amazon - free Prime shipping 1-2 days - for $179.00 to $199.00. BTW, this is the 3rd or 4th time I've made this observation on Drop's discussion board and they've never explained their pricing or why they are more expensive. Perhaps a name change from Drop to Raise?
Other than peak power, other differences you know of? I assume other elements of the design were tweaked as well, but I wasn't able to dig up a comparison and don't know if it's worth the price premium.
