Kershaw and Emerson, two popular designers and leading names in the knife community, have collaborated to release a series of top-of-the-line blades. Their collaboration features a series of manual opening blades based on Emerson’s Wave feature, a mechanism that catches on the back of your pocket for easy blade deployment. As a result of this partnership, the CQC-2K combines the precision engineering of Kershaw with Emerson’s functional design.
Note: Due to additional scrutiny and increased seizures at customs this drop will be limited to members within the US. This drop is limited to 169 knives.
Featuring an 8Cr14MoV stainless steel blade with black-oxide coating, the CQC-2K has good slicing and piercing ability. The blade’s clip-point design has a slight recurve on the cutting edge which gives it a steeper angle of attack when cutting. The CQC-2K’s ergonomically designed handle is a combination of textured G10 on the front and black-oxide-coated stainless steel on the back. The coating gives the folder a distinctive look and a non-reflective, low profile.
