Has anyone who is commenting negatively about the Kailh switches ever personally tested/used/owned a keyboard with Kailh's? I'd love to get an unbiased review from someone who has actually had experience with them, and not comments that debase the switches because they're "Made in China" or that they "heard from someone that they were cheap and just 'cheap cherry clones.'"
Regardless of the brand of switches, this is the best price I can find for a Mechanical Keypad so I'll commit to join at the lowest price. If someone has a better recommendation please let me know.
christophertsaoThank you for having some sanity. So many people just go crazy because of fanboyism from /r/mechanicalkeyboards without actually having any experience. I too am curious.
That said, Adesso does make an MX blue numpad for around $40; that might be worth a look for you if you "need" MX switches.
AedesiusI'm replacing my Adesso with this; (well supplimenting; multiple PC's) . My beef wit hthe adesso is the PCB mounts are very wiggly, and the non standard + key (its a standard r3 1x instead of the long "normal one) .. Nothing infuriates me more than the fact that - key is where the top half of my + should be and both "/" and "*" fall in weird places too.. (

Other issue is the Adesso only rates their Cherry MX Blues at 30m as opposed to 50m keystrokes... kinda odd and makes me think they bought some cheap batches of 2nds..
I don't hate on the Adesso; It's been a great help with my TKL, but that "+/*-" key placement is pure BS.
