I... have no idea what to say here.
It's a flashlight. I press the button, I get light. I plug the USB cable in, it charges. It has modes (that I never use). It has a magnetic tail and swivel head (that I use ALL the flipping time).
I don't think I had ever heard of Klarus before I came across this drop... but now if I somehow need another flashlight... this brand is at the top of my list.
This torch has been a damn near literal life saver on more than one occasion for myself/others (namely myself tending to others) and has a designated spot in emergency bag. The USB C vs Micro charging method doesn't bother me much since I have plenty of ways to charge 18650's on the move and a small stockpile of the buggers reconditioned from various electronics that used to use them as their primary battery cells. The swivel head and the clip on the torch are fantastic at throwing light ahead of you while keeping your hands free, the brightness modes ranging from “Holy s**t, is that a second sun?!” to just dim enough to get the job done without blinding anyone in the process is amazing, and the strobe mode can knock people flat on their ass which I regretfully know from experience (the teeth on the front of the torch could probably do a number on someone as well, but I wouldn't rely on them in a major crisis scenario since the head swivels and you might not get the force you're looking for if the head suddenly turns the wrong way – I have not field tested this in any way, it's just an observation based on how the head swivels and the force to require it to do so).
All in all, I can't even say that this is something I carry in my EDC – it's too damn good for that. This is a torch you don't want to lose, want it there when you need it, and you KNOW will get you out of a rough patch; This is a torch you'd want to leave with a loved one so they can be prepared if trouble comes and you're not able to be there at that exact moment.
...or just buy two...or three. Whatever. I think you get my point.
Great build quality, nice weighty feel, overall a very well build and sturdy flashlight. The swiveling head is a great bonus, awesome for working on cars. USB charging is incredibly handy, however it is micro USB and not USB C which is highly preferred. All in all, highly recommend. One of my favorite flashlights.

Sadly, we are living in that middle period between the "Micro USB Age" and the "USB C Age." Half of our stuff is the former, and the other half- the latter.
NarqThat's why I've been keeping adapters in my field bag through this rough transition. Micro doesn't seem to have many f***s to give about the power output whereas Type-C just wants to om-nom-nom all the power it can get. I start with C, "downvert" if I have to.
Awesome light. Swivel feature is great. Light settings and illumination modes are the right amount of light for this flashlight. The beam pattern is a wide throw, versus a narrower spot type focused beam offered by another manufacturer. When compared, this has a whiter brighter effect. Overall a great flashlight.
