Unveiled earlier this year, KLC’s Nori Spring Rider Mechanical Keyboard caused nothing short of a stir with its new spring-mounted system. Now, the board is springing to life here on Drop, before anywhere else. Don’t miss your first chance to experience spring mounting: an innovative typing system that replaces the rubber gaskets found in gasket-mounted boards with patented coiled springs. It’s a unique approach that features seven springs installed inside the PCB to deliver an ultra-satisfying feel and bouncier, more flexible typing experience than gasket-mounted boards. That feel is supplemented by all-around softness and a fairly muted sound profile, thanks to several dedicated foams installed in key areas within the Nori Spring Rider. Up top, a LinWorks Keycap Set with doubleshot construction and PC legends ensures an exceptional feel with a tastefully retro aesthetic. Elsewhere, hot-swappable switch sockets, per-key RGB lighting with RGB underglow, and three-mode connectivity complete the consummate enthusiast experience. It’s time to ride the springs.
Founded by the South Korean enthusiast brand KLC, The Nori Project—or simply “Nori,” as it’s seen on products—is a Mech Keys brand that’s bringing custom-keyboard quality to the mass-produced keyboard space. In the process, it’s unveiling some truly innovative designs. The brand’s motto is “The new invention of tradition.”—which comes to life in builds that are impressively well-built, budget-friendly, and groundbreaking all in one. Launching here on Drop before anywhere else, The Spring Rider is just the first. We can’t wait to see what Nori does next.
