Anyone know if this bottle will fit in a bicycle water bottle cage snugly? That'd make this super handy as I believe Stanley no longer makes their purpose-made insulated bike bottle.

I have a plastic bottle cage and it fits snugly, though it does expand the top of my cage slightly and that contact has worn away the finish.

Thanks for the feedback! I have open style stainless cages and my current Stanley has a couple ridges on it that interfere enough to be irritating. If this drops again I'll have to snag one.

How spill-proof are these? Can I throw it in a bag and not worry about it opening?

I have the 2.0 lid, same as this drop. It is completely leak proof. I through it in my ruck and it has never let a drop out. Build quality/fit finish is excellent.

not leak proof. leak resistant maybe but it's not to the same level as a contigo mug would give you.
