Still taking orders on this one when we already know the other model isn't shipping (possibly for another 30 days)?
If Lavatools/MD can't ship one, why should we have confidence they can ship the other?

What kind of idiot thinks a drop that doesn't ship, is a good deal because it's cheap? On second thought, why don't you just order your next Lavatools thermometer from me?! I'll beat MDs price by half! I won't ship yours either, but it will be a heck of deal!
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I seldom see your comments on any drops. But I do notice that whether you're there or not, it doesn't make a damn difference, one way or another. I like that about you--you're easy to ignore ;- )

Look here, Captain Credit, you keep confusing $10 credits with "Great deals"--a credit means there was no great deal and you waited sixty days (or worse) for nothing--and in reality, could have bought the same damn item elsewhere and saved the aggravation. So what part of that is "Free"--or do you normally pay for your credits on the other sites you frequent?

Mean time, if we all wanted a different drop, we would have chosen one. Evidently we didn't. I'm guessing that's either because we all wanted a $23 thermometer, or like you, we secretly have an embarrassing MD $10 credit fetish.

I don't know if Massdrop are going to elaborate on the matter, but only like half the orders were delayed. I got mine already, and it was an overseas order (CA tax kills 95% of the drops for me, it's either amazon prime or shipping overseas lol).
