Notes - Wash carefully - IP65 (low-pressure water jets), _not_ IP66 (strong jets) and/or IP67 (bottom of full sink). No calibration adjustment! Fast (3 sec but not 2 sec) thermistor [vs. pricy thermocouple (2 sec) tech]. oC/F switch inside battery compartment (if you care). Button, not AAA (grumble). Readout flips (2 way) but not vertical. Must turn off induction burners to use. But for ~$35 shipped (vs. $100 +shipping ThermoPen), I'm in for presents. BTW, TheWirecutter has a nice comparison review.

BillRMy spouse pointed out "can't adjust" calibration would have been clearer and that I forgot to mention that the ThermoPen's probe is also a smaller diameter.
