You’re looking for a simple mechanical keyboard and nothing more, just a solid, dependable place to type. That said, the last Leopold drop wasn’t quite your jam, maybe due to the dye sublimated keycaps or too many Cherry MX Switch options. To give you another go at a kingly keyboard, we’re offering the Leopold FC660M Keyboard, now with Clear Cherry MX Switches and laser etched legends. Only 40 keyboards available!
While the laser etching may not be quite as wear resistant as dye sublimation, your legends will hold up for years of serious use. The etching process also offers more color options than dye sublimation, leading to the grey caps and off-white legends. Although the legend printing method has changed, the build of the keycaps remains the same. They still arrive in a low profile and are made of PBT plastic, one of the hardest and most durable materials employed in keyboards.
Underneath your caps, Cherry MX Clear Switches lurk with an actuation force of 55 g and an activation distance of 2 mm. Often called “stiffer Browns” as they feature more of a tactile feel, the required force is comparable to most rubber dome keyboards.
The keyboard connects to your computer via a USB A to mini-B cable, stretching to almost seven feet for a far longer reach than most. For a simply sophisticated typing experience without a single distraction, get clacking today on the Leopold FC660M Keyboard with Clear Switches.
