I don't want to sound like some douche or anything. But I was real excited to see this when it showed up in a email as I've been needed something like this, then I clicked on it and seen the price. You know if you go to Amazon or Ebay and search for "leather desk organizer" you'ld be much happier these thing start out at around $30 and and even cheaper if you don't mind faux leather. I mean they don't have the little foam inserts that holds your pens but for the price difference you could probably get your own foam.

I was never implying that this was overpriced and or not worth the money it's listed for. That being said I have no experience with this product for all I know it's worth every penny they are asking for if not more. All I was stating was while I myself and apparently a few others while we would like a product like this we don't really want to pay that much for and and therefore was wondering if there was a similar but cheaper product.
Oh and was serious about the M800 Drop can we have one please.

pastubbsWith all due respect, if you want a M800 drop, and you aren't interested do like a lot others do and start a poll and suggest the M800. I don't think the appropriate response is that if you are not interested in this and do not have any knowledge of it to come in and complain.

It's really getting old wherein posters compare one product made by one company with another completely different product made by another without qualification. I am sure you can find plenty of desk organizers for $9.99 made by some child in southeast asia. It is not fair to compare that product with another, unless they are substantially similar.
I have not seen this product in person, but I own and have seen other products by Levenger in the few brick and mortars where they are sold. My Levenger desk is 20 years old and made of solid wood (not particle board). If I were so inclined to purchase this item I expect the same quality in this product I have seen in the past from their others.

i do love this thing, but it's too pricey for me. I like the one they make out of faux leather (Textura, i think) that's like half the price.

IATerakahnFrom Levenger, yes probably. I'd look at staples and OfficeMax sites first tho, they probably have similar items at lower prices

Do you have one? I do, and I beg to differ. I just purchased my second for my home office.
It is worth every penny, if you are a stickler for your office and take pride in your work and professional presence.
IKEA has nothing this beautifully made and well designed (holds all fountain pens, 3x5's in the middle front, Field Notes 3 across behind, and any of your quick grab notebooks behind (I get 2-3 in there). This replaced 3 or 4 different desk 'thingies', making for a more streamlined, lean&mean desk landscape (on that note, its styled horribly in the picture).
No I don't work for Levenger, and I didn't buy my first for $150. And I buy plenty of things at IKEA. Shout out to the little sheepskin rugs.

I purchased the unifier several months ago. It is a bit expensive, but it is a very well made product. I liked it so much, that I purchased the matching bomber leather desk pad and mousepad too. Yes, you can certainly find a desk organizer for less, but they won't look nearly as nice. No, I don't work for Levenger, I'm just a satisfied customer.

Right now, this is on sale at LEVENGER for $129 - I realize for INTL shoppers, shipping is the key, but for USA, the Massdrop price is not compelling.

3 purchased, 8 committed. 12 needed for lowest price. If you calculate that out, there's only one needed to get to the lowest price. Meaning...commit at $99.99 if you want it at the cheapest price and you'll get that price right away. Also...wait forever? Really? I'd hardly call a few weeks (Oct 6th ship date) as being 'forever'.

TheDarkTrumpetOk OK OK... but you know darn well, MD is never on time with any of these drops. Just scan all the boiler plate "updates" from elimelendez... and I am not laying blame anywhere, just saying I've done at least a doz or more drops on various "writing" items, and only ONE shipped out on or before it was scheduled. But, I'll bite at $99...

this would cost more than any pens and so forth that i could possibly put in the damn thing. why would i waste a hundred bucks on this? what makes it worth that? i could make one out of black walnut and accent it as i choose for a fifth of the price!
