Got mine today and it’s beautiful. Great packaging and massdrop registered me for warranty with LG. Follow instructions for receiving it and make sure you inspect before you sign. Get a helper if needed. Be very careful because it is a thin oled and can bend if not handled properly. Great deal. Bottom line- be on your A game when receiving it.

Makes sense to me, I thought of a projector for that kind of setup. I actually hurt my neck this morning (Internet whiplash? Maybe?), so it feels really sore whenever my head isn’t supported resting against something.

I just received the 65'" C8 OLED and the screen was cracked and it won't even turn on. I've sent several messages and got the automatic email reply, but have not received any responses yet. Anyone know how long it takes to hear back about damaged goods? Or a refund or replacement TV?

Be careful, The 55 inch , OLED55C8, is cheaper out there from 2nd level ecommerce stores. Just google it.

Yes, my TV showed up with no bait and switch. The only thing is they will try and upsell you on a warranty and white gloves delivery; but you can just say no like I did. The blacks on this TV are just crazy, LOVING this OLED. (first OLED and first 4K TV for me)

Sorry for the hugely delayed response. I bought it through BuyDig, which actually went through BeachCamera. It was a weekend deal where you had to call in to BuyDig and mention the sale price. Phone call took about 5 minutes and the TV showed up less than a week later. Free delivery and no tax.

Not only was the base cracked, the entire panel has a giant crack going down the center of it. How do I return this?

Update:
MD refunded the purchase. I'm still waiting on guidance on what to do with the TV, but they did refund it. I think they're backlogged (a lot) with returns/support issues.

Best buy prices for 55inch is 2499 and 65 inch is 3499. You could save quite a bit of money if you're planning to buy it now, You can Save 400 on the 55 inch and 600 on the 65 inch. I'm impressed. I like this drop. Too bad I still can't afford it 😂😂

Sure, but the picture quality is only slightly better than the b7. If onboard Dolby ATMOS sound is worth more than a grand to you, then by all means, go for it. 😁

Yeah. I don’t disagree with anything you said. This is a significant discount on the going rate for this set. Though, I’m not sure why you’re bringing up an E7 deal on a 55” screen when i was comparing 65” sets.
Anyway, you’re the one that said you couldn’t afford this drop. I was just noting that there are likely going to be some great deals on OLED in coming months on older sets that have substantively identical picture quality as the C8. worth keeping an eye out. Cheers.

So, you give a company $5000 for an amazing TV deal ($2000 - $2500 less than retail) and you wait and hope it's not a scam.... Well, it's not a scam. I was worried since putting in my order on the 10/3/18 drop for a 77" TV. Six weeks is a long time to wonder and wait. Will it be a USA TV? Will it be damaged? Will it be the right TV? All worries vanished when it arrived yesterday. The delivery team was great - called me an hour ahead of time and came right as scheduled. They handled the box with care and the box itself was in pristine condition. All labels indicate it is a USA product and brand new. No trouble unboxing, and it works perfectly! I also had no trouble registering it with LG online for the warranty (I know posts here say Massdrop does it for you, but I never got the e-mail and it seemed easy enough to do it myself). So, I am relieved and amazed. No idea how they can knock so much $ off the TV price but everything was as promised and I saved a ton of money. Yes, it takes time to arrive - that's a known thing here. But otherwise it's a site and team I now trust and post here so others can put their worries aside. Great deal!!!

TV was delivered and Thankfully it arrived in great shape! Was worried the box had some holes and dings but the set was flawless. I finally had a chance to setup everything and this set is mind blowing. By far the best set on the market atm. I have the 65” in my bedroom and set this up downstairs and I swear it looks better than the 65”. Took long while to get but was worth the wait. TY Massdrop!!! I bought the soundbar and will setup that up this weekend in my bedroom.

BlacksunnYou have your tv way too high. The correct height is at eye level when you're sitting down. How are you not having neck problems with your head tilted up for hours at a time?

elrodvtJust for clarification, shipping and delivery are two different things. My tv SHIPPED on one date, but when the delivery company contacted me I was able to have it delivered at a later date when I was going to be home.

inhalethesoulBuydig call-in on Sundays. Probably also through Greentoe since they are usually fulfilled by Buydig/Beach Camera. Firstclasstv also had it on ebay at that price recently but I think that ended for now. Wouldn't be surprised to see it get down around 2k for July 4th sales.

It was the 55" by the way. And still love it. Only weirdness is the remote aim drifts. Sometimes it's to the rt sometimes it's to the left or up or down.

Sorry about the delay just logged bk in. YES - FedEx, rather then leaving a non-delivery note because my gate was locked decided to heave-ho it over the gate. Box was slightly crumpled on the impact corner, but as I mentioned good packing saved the TV. Delivery was 3-4 days early hence the locked gate.

Thanks for the reply! I was actually asking if the Atmos effect works on the pioneer speakers. I’m hearing mixed feedback about it. Do you hear sounds above you when you ply compatible content?
