Product Description
The Mistel MD600 Alpha is a split mechanical keyboard that takes everything you love about a full-featured board and splits it right down the middle. We mean that literally, of course, as the MD600 is configured as a 60% split Alice-style keyboard that can physically be pulled apart to line it up just right with your particular arm span for just the right ergonomics Read More

for the people requesting its available on amazon too. nope firmware can't be mod, and you have to use their commands to change keys around. Works well I like it.
Just curious has anyone moved to this style of keyboard for comfort? Is it noticeably more comfortable than a 65% standard QWERTY keyboard?

MkjenisI switched from a Keychron K8 TKL to Royal Kludge S70 split keyboard to try it out, and for me it was a clear difference in terms of shoulder and wrist comfort. A 14 hour day of typing is pretty easy for me now. If you go split layout, I recommend something with firm builtin wrist rests, which this Mistel keyboard seems to be lacking. You want the wrist rests to give good support since you generally have each side tented.

Why are there only 3 foam(?) feet for each half? Won't the keyboard be unstable?
antseverywhereits meant to make it have a bit of an angle with the 3 taller feet. it would still be 4 points touching your desk with the 3 taller ones creating an angle where the middle of the board is higher than the outside of it when its split in half. if youre using it in 1 piece id imagine the taller feet would have to be removed from the front (or bottom? spacebar side?) though as the front outside corners would have the shorter feet while the middle have taller, which would make both front corners sit off the desk and wouldnt be very stable at all. you could leave the taller feet on if you want the top of the kb (function keys side) taller than the spacebar side of course.

I like it. Need a 10 key on the side though, and a wrist rest.
