Is it a co-op or pvp game? We lean more towards co-op like the Hogwarts battle game

ValencoPvP. You probably want this one: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/77423/lord-rings-card-game. It's a completely different game and has reviewed much better than this one. It is an excellent co-op.

I've played them all, including The Hobbit. I must say that they are pretty fun. The different games have semi-different mechanics that differentiates them all from one another, which is great. The Fellowship is your standard run of the mill deckbuilder. The Two Towers adds a "breach" deck that has detrimental effects to either all or some players. The Return of the King adds the ring board where you and your comrades must (If I remember correctly) destroy a card to advance the ring to mount doom. Whoever destroys the ring gets extra victory points, and the game ends. Very fun, with the quality expected from cryptozoic.
