This thing is awesome, well built, and a good material. I just wish they gave you some sort of template so you can print your own inserts. Its a very small print, so difficult to get printouts correct.
Quality wise, it's great. It's a little short when I use it with taller profile keys. One star off since the included images are pretty random...I have no idea who some of the girls are. Kpop stars? Maybe include photos of which images come with it.
Excellent tab key replacement, it's a little heavy but it doesn't activate the key without pressing. Love the included images but wish they were precut to fit.
The manufacturer gives a number of photos that can be added to the display. Unfortunately there is no instruction on how to remove the upper casing. But in the end, it did, but not without some searching on the web.
I'm really impressed with the quality of this keycap. Swapping out the screens is really fun, as is printing my own to insert. My only complain is the plastic screen is a little loose and rattles when I press it, which makes it not the most practical thing to use. Unsure if this is just an issue with mine or all of them.
Got the red one. Love the quality, sturdy and heavy. It's a bit large for the ESC key, not really a key you would frequently press on like the enter key, too bulky and it's a bit too heavy. Wish the little photos they provided were cut out. Doesn't mention what size the little pictures are or any description on how to change the pictures. You have to poke the holes in the back of the cap to push the clear window out to switch the picture.
When I saw this keycap I knew I just had to have it. A customizable keyboard with a customizable keycap? Where could you go wrong. The cap itself comes with 100 different images that you can swap out with your T.V. making it very customizable! Whether you're a fan of colors, animals, music, cartoons, anime or even just cute things, there's something for everyone. The insurmountable number of custom images (and the ability to create your own) give the keycap infinite possibilities and prevents it from ever getting old or stale. I recommend it to literally anyone looking to give their keyboard a bit of personality.
The only gripe I have is that swapping out screens can be a bit finicky as you need a needle or toothpick to separate the magnet and screen holding the image in place. On top of that the other screens you're given need to be manually cut out with either scissors or a precision tool and must be done so carefully and perfectly to fit the screen in the keycap. Other than that, it's a great addition to any artisan collector!
