I am not a expert reviewer of head phones, but I know what I like. I have several pair of cans, but they are not always convenient to carry or stuff in a backpack. I bought a set of these and was impressed by the sound quality, so impressed I bought a second pair. I keep one set in my backpack to use with my computer or phone, the second in my Sprinter to use with Iphone while waiting at airport for guests. I could not get over how good they sounded for the dollars spent. They will not replace a good set of cans, but the sound quality will not disappoint most people. The fit and finish are top notch, I had no problems using them with my ears. I did not experience the "tinny" sounds, I felt it was a warm sound that I like.

I got the ms02 when i joined the drop. It had a bad driver on one side and customer support at Thinksound was quick to rectify the error and send me another set.
The earphones itself is amazing, if i have to describe it in short, its like having table speakers on your ears but more intimate. tl;dr I LOVE IT, it's accurate enough to not be boring but soft hitting everything might not be for everyone. For the price you get from massdrop, its a steal. Despite it's shortcomings, it is my daily driver simply because it's easy to drive, sounds great and non-fatiguing.
The review will sound a bit harsh, but it was made in comparison with headphones/earphones costing double if not triple the price I paid for the ms02.
The bass is HUGE in its presence, huge like having a pair of subwoofers in your ears , but it doesn't take away the quality of the mids and highs. One may call it bloated though simply because it's not fast and hard hitting but it's accurate enough that i don't really mind it. I have an HD25-1 ii and really love the HD600, simply because it represents what i like in terms of the quality of bass.
Mids and highs are clear, and if i have to guess, it's neither forward nor backward in terms of placement when compared to the bass. On a pure assessment on the quality, its slightly above average. But vocals doesn't have the airiness and sharpness that high end headphones have making some vocalist sound more nasally than normal and instruments like guitar and snare drums don't have the snappiness to it making it sound lacking.
Other reviewers have attributed the softness of the sound to the wooden body, not sure if that is the case, but the sound is soft none the less. Not soft as in quiet, but soft as in lacking speed, impact and sharpness.
L/R separation is amazing, Instrument separation is present and soundstage seems larger than average for an IEM.
I have no complaint on the build quality of my working set, some people have reported that the glue used are weak and people end up with broken driver.
Driver flex is another weird issue which i don't really like, feels like I'm damaging both the drivers and my ear drums.
Despite all that, i do really enjoy the ms02, it's a beast in a tiny package. I had the itch to buy a new headphones/earphones and it delivered. It's 5/5 because for the price i paid, it's definitely worth it. If you want to listen to what Thinksound has to offer without spending too much, this is it.

I got the MS02 in my blue box and they're decent IEM's for $40. The "smooth sound" favors the electronic beats and flavors of current pop and will make these a great upgrade from somebody used to the average ear buds. Personally I favor greater clarity than these offer, but if I change my V30's sound setting to Enhanced it sharpens up the sound nicley while still maintaining warm and detailed bass. I like the long stem design; capped with some Comply foam tips these are very comfortable. They're light enough to not pull themselves out of your ears while walking but I don't know about heavy exercise. Build quality seems okay, the cable is kind of stiff and smelled awful when I first opened the Altoid box they came in. After a little offgassing they smell fine 😉
So I'm happy to have them in my arsenal for $40, at $110 I would have been dissapointed though, so don't pay retail.

I received the On2 MonitorSeries! They're pretty awesome and i'm so glad i got the On-ear set. I'm not some big audiophile but I've owned the beats, I've owned the Bose over-the-ear, and a set of V-Moda over-the-ear as far as high-quality headphones go. IMO the V-Moda were the best "Natural Sounding" set of cans i've ever had and cheaper than my Beats and Bose (249.99) but these are a great comparison. I've just opened them so i can't comment on the craftmanship from every-day use but the sound-quality, look, and feel are great. The 49$ price i paid for these is by far under what it should; however, I do think the regular MSRP of 199.99 fits them.

I received the MS02. Overall, I'm disappointed. For a set of earbuds "voiced by acclaimed audio engineer, Aaron Fournier" that sell for more than $100, the bass is terribly dominating, muddy, boomy, and sometimes downright nauseating. They might have good mids and highs, but I can't hear them over the freaking bass. It's tolerable when listening to old recordings with poor bass, but anything modern with strong bass is distracting to the point of displeasure. I'll go back to my $50 V-moda things. I'd return them if I could. For the price, I wasn't expecting a lot, but this is just bad.

These are the absolute worst made product I have ever, ever purchased. The wood and coating are chipping after less than 10 uses. The cable feels cheaper and knot easier than anything I've owned. Of the 400+ headphones and IEMs I've tested in the last 15+years, these should never be sold over $10.00. Get something else.
I can provide pictures if need be.

I got the ms02, they sound slightly better than the IEM's I got for free with an LG phone years ago. But the cables are really flimsy... Was expecting better. The cheap LG IEM's have proper cables and that's why I take them everywhere instead of the ms02. I wouldn't dare have the ms02 in my pants back pocket with those cables.

Got the ms02. Love the sound. Very clear, good bass without being muddy or stepping on the mids or highs
