Massdrop "Community First" Icon T-Shirts

In response to many requests from our members, we’re excited to make the “Community First” icon T-shirt available to, well, the community. Originally created for the Massdrop team and local meetup attendees, it features more than 100 icons made from scratch by in-house designer Erik Bro. Each icon tells a piece of our story: our communities, milestones, and most memorable moments. There’s the Ferry Building, a nod to our San Francisco locale, and the ErgoDox keyboard, the beginning of our foray into community-designed and custom products. From headphones to Hungry Hungry Hippos tournaments to our early, pre-office days shipping out of a shared rental—it’s all here. Thanks for being a part of it. We can’t wait to see what’s next.

For us, this is more than a shirt; it’s a page in Massdrop’s history book. But, yeah, it’s also definitely a shirt, so we wanted it to be the most comfortable shirt around. Made from 100-percent cotton by Alternative Apparel, these crewnecks feel super soft and look great, too—otherwise, we wouldn’t wear them! As Massdrop grows, we want our T-shirt design to grow along with it. The first collection of icons was created over the course of about a year, with input from every corner of the company. We hope to continue to add new icons as we explore new communities, overcome new challenges, and get to know more of you.
