r47zWhy did you think it would be different this time around, versus July and August when they also didn't ship to Singapore?
And what FallMaster said.
r47zThey shipped to Singapore for the first drop iirc but it has been the same situation since the 2nd drop for these headphones, so no use whining. Just use a forwarder and you will be able to get it
FallMasterI can help. I ordered on June 29 and used ezbuy’s shipforme service. After my HD6XX has shipped to ezbuy USA warehouse, the chargeable weight according to ezbuy is 2kg.
The total shipping fee is S$15.96 to Singapore. You will have an option to buy insurance for your item. The insurance charge is 3% of the declared value of the goods and international shipping fee. Ezbuy will insure 100% up to S$2,000. If you choose not to buy and the item go missing while in the care of Ezbuy, you will be compensated up to S$100 of your product amount.
It costs S$8.51 for the insurance and I purchased it as I have waited close to 5 months for the HD6XX. My HD6XX is on shipping now and I hope to receive it by end of next week. :)
I hope this information will help buyers from Singapore to use forwarding service instead of complaining why Massdrop does not ship to Singapore/Asia. You have 15 hours left. So “JOIN THE DROP“ now!
Happy joining. :)
r47zI finally have my Massdrop x Sennheiser HD6XX on my hands after 5 months of waiting. This is my first ever Massdrop's purchase, and I like the headphones so much.
- Order on 29 June 2017
- Shipped out from New Jersey on 18 Nov
- Received at Ezbuy's warehouse at Beaverton, Oregon on 28 Nov ( Using FedEx SmartPost)
- Arrived at Singapore on 3 Dec
- Delivered to my selected Ezcollect point on 4 Dec
- Collected my long-awaited HD6XX on 4 Dec
Here a photo of my LG V20 with the HD6XX.
FallMasterI just received the cost from vPost. Quite expensive for return customer. But if you are first time customer, then they will waive the base charge, I think. There was also a 2 day delay from vPost. The package was sent to vPost USA on 5 Dec but I only received the notification today (7 Dec). The package will be delivered to me on 13-15 Dec. So, I think Ezbuy is cheaper and faster as mentioned by Descay90.
JinKwokWow. Almost twice on what I had paid. Thanks for sharing. I like ezbuy low costs and fast delivery. One thing I dislike is their customer service is really bad. I had contacted the customer service via chat/call/email and could not get any response from them. Do take note on this for anyone who wish to use ezbuy.
Descay90Is there a reason why you had to contact customer service? And i think you should also post the cost breakdown on hardwarezone forum to allow more Sgprean to know the cost breakdown associated with getting the headphones
Descay90vPost customer service is quite bad too. Quite difficult to reach them via phone and online chat. Also, I have raised a ticket on why there is a delay on their side but got no reply from them. They even stated in the invoice that they received the item on 7 Dec but clearly, Fedex has delivered it on 5 Dec (local time). So, I wrote a long email to them complaining about the delay; no reply; expensive rates for return customer and as usual, no reply from them.
FallMasterI was contacting the customer service on the payment methods. But in the end I found the information on the website.
I have read on the HWZ forum and believe the information has shared that ezbuy shipforme service will cost around S$20 Which is closed to what I have paid.
