Have had the monitor for 4 years. For the price paid for it and the experience it has given, it has shown it's value. Rarely the panel will show a vertical red line and then disappear after some use. I see that other buyers have had similar issues as well.
I have been using this monitor for over 4 years now. It has been great but it is definitely showing its age. When it first turns on I have 1 or 2 vertical purple lines on the right side of the screen. It goes away after about 15 minutes of use when the monitor warms up. I have noticed other reviewers having similar issues. I will be keeping it until those 2 purple lines turn into more or the monitor dies, whichever comes first.
So this monitor I have had for 3 years now and now when it goes into sleep mode it has purple lines running across it and the controls on the back of it do not work at all so I cant even turn the monitor off unless I unplug the thing. its really annoying. luckily I havent gotten any dead pixels yet but its really aging pretty bad.
I bought this about 3 years ago when it went on sale for 450 USD. At the time, it was a great deal for a monitor this size, resolution, refresh rate and the curve.
I've enjoyed it alot since I've gotten it, but about a year after I purchased the monitor, I noticed that there were some lines developing on the screen that almost looked like TV scanlines. I got accustomed to it, but after a while it started to get worse. After turning my computer on today, the entire right side of the monitor has horizontal black lines running through it and they appear to be rows of dead pixels. I tried a different computer and different cables but nothing changes.
I wouldn't recommend getting this monitor, I know I wouldn't buy it again.
I just plopped down for a nice Samsung 2K 144hz monitor to replace this one. Very disappointed in the overall build quality and support from Drop.
I bought this monitor last year and it was my first ultrawide. Its functioned great and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a nice affordable monitor!
I have been using this daily for about two years and have been very pleased with my experience. The competition has caught up a bit, but at the time, this was a great deal for the specs.
This monitor does everything I need it to and more. I don't game, but I put it through its paces with large projects and windows galore. I need another one! BADLY
