Thanks for honest reviews guys, you've stopped me from wasting $35 + $5 for shipping :) Looks like I'll continue using my Steelseries Siberia Flux.

grubicvThere's still much better options out there than the Steelseries Siberia Flux.
The RE-00 tends to have a neutral, somewhat mid-centric sound signature, so that's why many people on Massdrop do not favor it.
That being said, many "Gaming" headsets don't really have the best sound quality. If you really want to experience an "audiophile" headphone, start with the Philips SHP9500. It's a budget-friendly open-back headphone. I strongly recommend you try those out.
Cheers!

mapuya19Regarding RE-00 I don't care about the sound if they are gonna fall apart fast. I've been using Flux In-Ear (forgot to state they are in-ear) for almost 2.5 years, and they were pulled, stepped upon, and everything, and they look and sound as new... I'm looking for in-ear headphones, I have lots of regular headphones (all in range 50-150 eur) but I can't really carry them around cause it's not practical.
