Only you can prevent forest fires—and you can do it from your keyboard. When The Great Fire of 1910 burned over three million acres in the Western United States, the Forest Service responded by building watchtowers (often called “Lookouts”) to stand watch over at-risk wilderness areas. With wildfires again on the rise, McCray Prototyping & Design has responded with a keycap to help. Modeled after The Forest Service’s original watchtowers, The Lookout artisan keycap is made in the USA and hand-painted with stunning detail. Most importantly, part of the proceeds from each one go to the National Forest Foundation’s current reforestation efforts.
