jonroI have one, and here is my EQ curve, just to bring it up to a minimum-fi like the QC35. Note the big recess around 3 khz. While the sound is the same wired or Bluetooth, the Bose QC35 gets the flatter sound in NC or Bluetooth mode due to the Bose built-in EQ. Otherwise, the quality is about the same.
jonroMine is Audioforge, an iOS app that's a full music player.

dalethornCan you post the equalizer settings with frequencies? I just got mine and the sound definitely needs a lot of adjustment. The image posted previously doesn't have the db/frequency shown along the axes
zgmfx20Go to my dalethorn website, click on HiFi Misc., then click on Headphone EQ with Audioforge Equalizer. The MEE Matrix 3 settings should be about midway down, just after MEE HT-21. Once you make those settings, feel free to reduce any treble increases in case it seems too bright. Also feel free to change the treble frequencies slightly, if you get a better sound that way. Save my settings under a name like MEE3, then save any settings you make or modify under a name like MEE3a, etc. That way you can toggle them back and forth while listening, to see which is better.

dalethornThanks for sharing- the sound is much improved after making those equalizer adjustments.
