The Mistel AIRONE takes a page out of Apple’s book bringing a truly magical, ultra-low-profile keyboard that’s actually a 65-percent-layout, mechanical setup. Armed with Cherry’s Ultra-Low Profile Clicky or Tactile switches, the AIRONE aims to give you a balance of solid feel without the large key-travel of full-sized keyboards. Naturally it comes with keycaps to match. Mistel has included super-slim, ABS keycaps that use a laser-carving technique to ensure clean, resistance-free lines. You find some other premium features under the hood here, too, such as software programmability to set up the macros you need for your workflow, as well as sound-absorbing foam so that whatever pings might escape the tiny, 1.3-centimeter chassis are blotted out at the source.
