$88 for this poorly thought out thing? I retrofit a light for sports display case for half this price and without the wire sticking out like a sore thumb.

This is the kind of product I want to eventually produce. To those thinking it's dumb, well it's just a display case. With LEDs. You can find display cases for all kinds of hobbies like figures, lego etc.
My idea is to have it stackable (this design doesn't look like it can stack) so that you can create a little shelf of boards on display without needing an actual shelf. Some people simply don't have the space for that, but still want to show off their boards in some way.
This product isn't terrible but for $88 USD, no way. It looks unfinished with that cable dangling and especially with the light bleed being visible.

Looks like it has the power cable up front because the top is clear and they didn't want to run wires from the back to the front. Seems like V2 should be a rechargeable light so you only charge it occasionally between "display" sessions and don't have an eyesore cable 24/7

This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen, and I want it so bad. But I agree the cable placement is dumb, but it looks like you could get creative with mounting tape and tuck/clean up the look of the wire. Not ideal but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That cable placement is pretty dumb. Seems like you don't have to use it. Which is good.
But overall that's pretty nice and the price is actually not too bad. Shame it seems like it doesn't include the keyboard stand inside.

Hi,
If you are having a smaller view angle, you can filp the case upside-down, so that the cable can be relocated to the down-left side of the case.

I wouldn't use it for a keyboard, but I have some other things that I might want to display in there (despite the silly power cord placement.) I'm more concerned that there seem to be two completely different prototypes being displayed here, one with aluminum left side panel, one with a clear left side panel. Some of the photos look like they have an opaque top, but I think that's just reflection due to poor lighting.

I want to buy this, but 2 things are preventing me from committing to the purchase
- can be power cable be re-located to somewhere less noticable?
- can the keyboard being displayed be easily taken out for use?
