Amazon ships internationally as well, but if this is still a better deal for you, no one is stopping you from buying. Meanwhile, my Montar Air arrives tomorrow.
The whole point of a group buy is to get the best possible price by buying in quantity, Amazon's everyday price matches the best Massdrop price, so I still stand by my original statement: This drop is a bust.
For anyone still on the fence, I received mine from Amazon yesterday. Much better quality than the $45 "Qi-Infinity" unit that I had previously. One of my big complaints about the "Qi-Infinity" unit was a notable radio interference. So far that doesn't seem to be a problem with the Montar. Mount is more compact than "Qi-Infinity". The suction cup is sticky, so it should help keep it attached to the windshield. I am curious to see if it stays "tacky" if I need to move it.
There are a lot with that design, its a pretty standard design. But like I was saying, its cheaper compared to both this ones MSRP and "discounted" price and its got prime. Not to mention amazon will have some action to take if it fails within a reasonable amount of time.
Aaron0535I'm glad it worked for you, but like I said, it didn't work for me. I would rather spend an extra $20 and hope for better results, rather than buy the same thing again. Price isn't the only factor for me.
I"m not sure that the feature "With a battery built into its body" is true.
I was able to plug the USB wire into the holder and when I place my Galaxy S7 on the Montar Air Qi Wireless Charging Mount I get a noticeable percentage of charge and the charging rings that show it is indeed charging.
If I unplug the USB wire "after a full day of charging the battery" in the Montar Air Qi Wireless Charging Mount, I don't get any notification that it is charging my phone. I took the liberty of removing the cover and from what I can tell there is NO battery inside, just the electronics for the charging unit. Please review images and confirm. Did Montar mislead us?
clownJayI realize this is an old question, just answering for anybody else wondering: yes, this works for Samsung phones with Qi support. I use a Note 5 and it works fine with it (under certain circumstances power draw can exceed the charging capacity and so it may start slowly losing charge, but I don't find it to be a big problem)
