It happens to all of us, but I still find it amusing that Mystery Black is listed as Mystery Balck in the picture with the overview of all avaiable inks.
Montblan... Montbalnc must be kicking themselves.
Mr.AnnoyingKnowItAllThey haven't exactly covered themselves in glory with "Lavander Purple" either.
And then of course Massdrop had to slip up at least once with "Oyster Gray", but I'll excuse that one since they're American and we all know Americans spell funny :)
Hi All,
It seems like we sold out of all the colors in the option 3 listing which is why each color was unavailable, the drop has successfully closed down and we will be sure to secure more of each color for the next drop! Stay tuned if you missed out on this one!
DaveHoffI'm confused. I wanted purple, brown and grey. Those 3 colors were available in Option1 and also in Option 2. How could at least 1 of them not be available in Option 3? Or, how could I not order two colors from the option in which both were available. Seems like a programming issue rather than an inventory issue.
There’s an old saying that Mont Blanc Inks should be used only in MB pens, and thaat’s certainly true here. I like the inks, have been using them for years, and appreciate the pricing, but there’s one issue I’d like to bring up. The inks are extremely thin and have absolutely no lubricity. Shading and saturation are nonexistent and you find the inks somewhat pale for your tastes. If you’re familiar with MB inks and like them, have a blast!
ravkesefThat reminds of me of the old saying that Massdrop ink drops for Mont Blanc Inks should only allow the first two ink selections to be made, never the third, and that's certainly true here. The shading and saturation are nonexistent, because I am unable to buy any inks. Definitely too pale for my tastes. If you're familiar with MD and disappointment, have a blast trying to order!
The first two drop down boxes have limited options that aren't sold out, and the third is all sold out. This is useless and lazy web development/QA. This can be resolved in the future with "dynamic drop downs". There are a plethora of techniques to be employed. This ink offer should be brought back as soon as this is recorded and inventory replenished as I know there are folks who want to join the drop, but cannot in its current form. I hope this helps!

JenksWith 96 sold, they must have had an incredibly limited number. Actually bought a sample of MontBlanc yesterday to try, since I wasn't sure I was going to like it. Now I'll just wait until the next drop, and get a sample of every ink color just to ensure what I do and don't like.
It won't let me select option 3 even though the very same inks can be selected for options 1 and 2. This is a really confusing & broken checkout experience.
