Orang3j3lloJust tested my "45g" board. It actuates with 37.7g and 36.08g and does not actuate with 34.88g (tested using Aus coins). We have in-fact been sent 35g boards.
Mine also had damage to some of the front row keys which could not have occured during shipping. Hopefully Massdrop can sort this out for us.
$100 lowest drop is pretty damn good for metal backplate, pbt keycaps, and topre switches. I'm surprised only 2 people have hopped on.
I'm interested in getting one for use at work but kinda concerned I won't like topre switches (and it's only a summer position but you can't have too many keyboards!)

I've had this keyboard about a week and I have been loving it so far. But this morning, I had to use a different wireless mouse after leaving mine in the office. Since I plugged it in, the keyboard has been adding a ; randomly as I type. It's done it abo;ut 5 times in the last hour. I'm hoping it's just not liking this cheapo mouse. Has anyone else had this issue?

KellyHSorry this is a bit late ... Did you try toggling the 6kro/NKRO to see if that would make a difference?
a6809No, although that would have been a good thought. I toggled it when I first got it, and noticed that it defaults to 6kro.
The issue with the random ; seemed to go away after I went back to my normal Logitech wireless mouse. But I ended up selling it a couple of weeks ago because even though I could type way faster on it than on my Browns or Novatouch, because I just didn't like the scratchy feeling of the stems when I typed on it.
Finally got around to doing the nickel test and sure enough my '45g' board actuates with 7 nickels. I've contacted support and will hopefully get this resolved.
Orang3j3lloI have this problem as well and contacted Massdrop, only to receive the brush-off and the "contact the manufacturer" if it doesn't work as described. Did you get any kind of further resolution?
Finally opened my 45g keyboard today. I am slightly disappointed with this keyboard. For one, the signature thock sound is really only noticeable when I fully depress the key with additional force (more than 45 grams). When I press the keys with just enough force to actuate them, there is no real distinctive sound other than the plastic keycap sliding down.
But typing on it for the past couple of minutes, I am warming to the keyboard because the keys do feel as if they give some support instead of the hindrance with regular rubber dome boards. That said, I don't find it as helpful as with MX Browns as the tactile point in the Browns are much more noticeable and prevent you from bottoming out as much.

i just received my 35g from Amazon for $110, it was fulfilled by Amazon and sold by third party seller. The keycaps are rougher than the white on black Vortex doubleshots. I'm not sure what profile the keycaps are, but it is shorter than OEM profile. I did the nickel test to test if the weight is as advertised, and it took exactly 7 nickels to depress and actuate the switch. With each nickel weighing 5g, so it was spot on. The cherry browns I have on my Quickfire XT takes 11 nickels before actuating. I imagine you could type or game on this keyboard for a lot longer than cherry style switch keyboards before feeling any sort of fatigue. Oh and the dedicated volume buttons are awesome, no more fn+ f key to change volume :). There is also the thock that everyone talks about with Topres, this definitely has that thock, but I'm not sure if it is the same as genuine Topres since I have never tried Topres, but it definitely is a nice pleasant sound. Anyway, this is my new favorite keyboard.
