I know that quad drivers always have crazy marked up prices (like all iems really) but is this price a good deal for these? Would be interested in them for watching Netflix/movies On my iPad at work as well as some spotify music as well. I dont want to spend more than this really so if anyone has any recommendations for a fun sounding iem from this price $160 or less let me know thanks✌️

RareAirsMaybe get the UE900s here
It's a far better value proposition. And UE always do their job nicely in terms of sound. Haven't tried the UE900s, but considering I like and actually own 2 of their lineup (UE18+ and UE7), and having auditioned all their lineups, I think they should still be a solid performer
UE has this characteristically lush mids presentation though. Might come off as being muffled/lazy sounding at times, but give it some time and you'll find that these are really detailed. Oh, exception is the UE4 and the discontinued UERM (Not the UERR). Those seem to aim for a true neutral sound.

malvinvnvThanks for the updated reply! I am looking hard at those UE900s and are in my perfect price range but when I google them and look at the forums the quality control seems to be lacking at best and really worries me. someone people think it is worth the risk for that price but to me it is still a lot of money for an iem. But trust me I am trying to put my mind at ease and join that drop!

RareAirsThe Primo8's are considered exceptionally strong even at original price. I own a UE900s and have listened to it for the past 2 years, but was actually not that impressed. Listened to a friend's Primo8's and was quite honestly regretting my UE900s purchase, even though I only got the UE900s for $200. I would highly recommend trying these (the Primo8's) out if you can find them in store somewhere, they might take a week or two to "grow into" but once you get a bit accustomed the sound is remarkable.

SoluinaHey does guitar center or Best Buy usually have iems to test? Or what common stores do you recommend to try out headphones and iems? I don’t have either within an hour from me so I always shop online

RareAirsI'm not sure about guitar center but Best Buy usually does not stock IEMs (occasionally they might have some of the more popular mainstream monitors). Trying out IEMs in person is IMO usually dependent on what stores are around your local area (if anyone knows widespread chain stores that stock a diverse range of quality IEMs and other audiophile gear, please let us know!).

RareAirsHmm, do you have a Magnolia store near you? Heard their collection should be better than your average US stores. I'm sorry i can't help much. I'm based on SG and the audio landscape's really different. Actually pretty easy to get your hands on almost all IEMs here
