I got a pair of these via the original Kickstarter event, so I've had them a couple of years. I think I can sum things up in a fair fashion.
Good: Quality construction and accessories, including cables and case.
Delivered product in a fairly timely fashion, an above-average Kickstarter experience.
Manufacturer continued to work on software and turned the headphones into a pretty decent noise- cancelling pair.
Not-so-good: The promise was to provide headphones which would measure your hearing and tailor the sound to your ear. I'm middle-aged, so that idea was appealing to me. To my ear, it resulted mostly in a bass boost.
I find the inner earphone piece somewhat annoying and wish there was a way to remove it.
Overall, this is a decent headphone, with decent noise isolation. The bluetooth connectivity is excellent. The headphone (other than the inner-ear part) is pretty comfortable. But I have to add that if overall sound quality is your goal, one of the open-ear Sennheiser models sold here for $100-$150 less probably sound better.
