I got mine today and have to say I'm pretty disappointed with the nib. It's super scratchy. I've read this is a common problem with Parker's.

Do these pens feature the same nibs as on the Duofold, or are they smaller? That chisled model is super classy and timeless.

MrSharkbaitClassy indeed and, really good value here. No, the Sonnets don't have the same nib as the Duofold. It is smaller and doesn't have the dual colour heart shape. In my eperience, the Sonnet is slightly springier (and less refined) than the Duofold which is intentionally a very rigid nib (for writing on those old multi copy carbon papers). Both good - just different.

MrSharkbaitMarlowe7 is correct ... the Sonnet nib is different from Duofold. However, the people, skills, tools and equipment used to make them are essentially identical (for the 18k nibs).

12 sold and the Brown and Rose Gold is already sold out in both nib sizes? Any chance that there will be more? I like Sonnets, but that trim is far and away the most attractive of this particular offering.

It has been interesting to follow the Sonnet over the years. My personal favorites have tended to be the earliest versions, but I have to say these current models are tempting. I especially like the updated, somewhat squarer cap tassie. Gone too is the black plastic center portion. And do I have to mention that this version features an 18k gold nib?! For $132?!
