I think was my first mass drop. I recently saw that I received the v3 clips with my strap. PD recommends replacing them. I went to their web site. did a quick survey on what version I had and in a week I received new clips from them free.

The straps from mass drop came with generation 3 anchor links, which have been recalled. Thankfully, the replacement process with Peak Design was very smooth, and they even gave me more replacement links than I requested. I also have second generation links with my previous purchase of the Slide and Slide lite straps, this time I purchased the Leash and Cuff. Gen 3 and 4 links are much smoother and easier to operate compared to gen 2, and I really appreciate how nice and low profile the Leash is, which is perfect for use with my Sony A7rII. The Slide, and even Slide lite seem quite overkill for the Sony camera, unless I mount the seldom used 70-200 zoom lens. I've used the Cuff with the RX100V, and it works well. The "bracelet" storage mode is pretty awkward to use and comes undone pretty easily though. Thankfully, the Cuff and the Leash both store away very small in jacket/jeans pocket or bag.

Purchased the Slide strap:
Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase. I do think it's better suited for wearing across the shoulder than any other configuration. (See Cons, below.)
Pros:
- fantastic adjustability, configurability, and versatility provided by the anchor system. I like that I can attach any camera, and even attach at different anchors on the same camera. - comfortable - beautiful, high quality
Cons:
- it's too long when wearing around neck. I'm on the shorter side for a male, at 5'6". When adjusted to be its shortest camera dangles awkwardly right above my belt buckle, clicking against it if I were to walk. The strap can't adjust any shorter because of the padded portion of the strap. I would have liked to adjust even tighter so that the camera didn't bounce around. Of course, there are many ways to solve this (wear across the shoulder, or use Capture, etc.) But it would have been nice to have this strap support that mode. - expensive: price is still steep, despite its quality

Convenient to be able to attach straps to the bottom of the camera, and being so easy to switch the attachment point. The only problem is the bottom attachment prevents opening the battery/SD card compartment on my Fuji X-E3, but its not Peak Design's fault.

Peak Camera Straps are the best very easy to use and strong. I have them for my 2 cameras great when putting the camera on a tripod to quickly remove the strap. The ease of changing from neck strap to wrist strap.

pretty nice. I should have gotten a leash instead though. Really unncessary to own any of the normal straps unless you are a professional cameraman with a dslr. anything like a sony a6000 or a fujifilm mirrorless would look and feel better with a leash.
Also i got the hand strap, and use it more as a keychain lanyard than anything else. the quick disconnect pucks kick ass though.

Works fine, could look a lot nicer. I got the Slide Lite in black. I wish they didn't have attention-catching red accents, especially on the plastic "anchor link" disks. In practice, this product involves handling a lot of clunky red plastic which definitely takes away from the aesthetic pleasure of photography. A camera sitting on your desk with anchor links attached looks downright ugly:

drewbergLOL same. I dont like the red anchor. I use black permanent marker to cover the red accent. Just wanna make it low key.

Love this strap, very sturdy, and convenient. I use it interchangeably with their cuff depending on the outing. And with the bottom tie on a capture I just slip off the strap/cuff and straight into the tripod. Easy-peasy light and breezy.
