These cables are great for a household with kittens. My cats bite or try to bite most of my cables, but with these I don‘t have to worry about the animals breaking my cables. I got a few of them so I have one to my father and he agreed that it is great for people with pets (especially kittens). Only gripe is that it can be a little difficult to unplug the cable from the source because of how thin the USB connector is, but that is a non issue because they don’t get unplugged often.

I see many complains below, maybe I got lucky(bought four), maybe the issue is mainly with lightning ones. All of cables are pretty much functional. One of them I use for my gaming mouse - that's a lot of potential wear and tear and it still works like new, looks fine too, albeit obviously scratched...

Doing great except for the fact that the steel cable can be pulled off from the base of the plugs. I see the white wiring, meaning the strength of the steel on the base is pretty weak.

I've had these for a few months now without issue. I use them daily, they always supported fast charging, I've never had any of the issues some of the other reviewers had. I'm very pleased with the quality and functionality of these cables.

Woke up this morning to a burning smell... and a burning hot cable on the nightstand. I've bought more than a few of these, and basically have to chuck them all if they cant be trusted not to short out and turn into a heating element.

FIRE HAZARD!!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!
Initially I was in love with this cable, seemed durable, no problems fast charging my Samsung S8+, worked great.... until mine caught FIRE!! So now I am in the market for another new cable, bed, curtains, and a cell phone as it fried the charging port. Your crap cables cost me over a two grand in damages that have to be replaced.

Cable is separating at the junction of cable & USB connector.
It looks as though the cable is NOT anchored into the USB connector.
Is this a defect I might find with all of the cbles I purchased?connectors.
