The Gavial, for which this knife is named, is an exceptionally long (up to 15 feet) crocodile known for its narrow snout housing 110 teeth, which it uses to shred through fish with ease. Similar enough, the 9-inch QSP Gavial may only have one “tooth,” but it has the size and brawn you need for most tasks. Fitted with a slender D2 blade that sports a combination finish, the Gavial is a great piercer, slicer, and all-rounder. The handle is composed of G-10 scales—in three colors, including crocodilian green—that surround a sturdy liner lock. The blade rides on ceramic ball bearings and springs forward with a press on the flipper tab. Attach the knife to your right or left pocket, thanks to the ambidextrous tip-up clip.
