A Brass Favorite With 2 New LEDs
With a hefty 3.3-ounce body made from solid brass, this new version of the ReyLight AA flashlight makes itself known in the hand. Grooves around the midsection create a secure hold in slippery conditions. Inside the body is your choice of a Nichia 4000K LED or an XPL 6500K LED, each with four different modes. On the lowest "moonlight" setting, it offers a soft 0.2 lumens, while the high delivers 130 (with an AA battery). All modes are accessed by clicking the tail switch. If you want over triple the power, grab a 14500 battery and the power level jumps up to 470 lumens on high mode. Click eight times and you can activate the memory function. Another eight clicks turns the function off. When on the go, use the included clip to attach it to your belt or pocket.
