The one and only notebook I ever need
The RocketBook is the one and only notebook I ever need. It is environmental friendly, in a way that the notebook can be reusable pretty much forever other than the fact you still need to purchase new Frixion when your pen ran out of ink.
I have been using this notebook for almost a year, and there are times that I left my note in the notebook for more around one month or so and it can still easily be wiped clean afterward.
I like the fact that all note can be persisted on your phone or one or more popular cloud storage providers of your choice using the Rocketbook smartphone app.
I cannot comment the usefulness of the OCR feature because I didn't take advantage of it and the neatness of my handwriting is nothing to be proud of (haha).
My primary usage of this notebook is to serve as my engineering notebook for work. Keeping track of my daily tasks and research notes. I memorize better when writing it then typing it on a computer.
When note are uploaded to my cloud storage provider, I purposely named the note using the date of when the note is taken. That allows me to easily navigate thru note and find out what exactly I did on certain date.

This I’d great for taking quick notes that you know you only keep for a short time. I got tired of filling up and throwing out dead tree notebooks. I bought one from the local giant online retailer to use for those temporary notes at work that are only relevant for the length of a project. I then picked up a second for use at home. It gets more use than the Notes app on the tablet. It has the tactile feel of actual pen on paper because that’s pretty much what it is. Any note that needs to live longer than a few weeks can be scanned and saved online. This model was the wet erase, which I like the idea of more than the idea of the “microwave to erase” model.

Very good concept. The most cost effective way that I have found to get my notes into OneNote. I do need to work on my handwriting so I can read my notes. I like having my package that I can grab and go; the Rocketbook in a portfolio with pens. No batteries or special tools. I am taking notes like everyone else. I can use the same notebook at every meeting.
The pages don't clean as easily as advertised. I have to basically wash them off and it takes several paper towels to wipe the ink off and then clear away the ink that I just spread out. I suppose it would not be so bad if I left the old streaks of ink which are not noticeable unless you look closely.
Finally, the pens are expensive.
I recommend it but you have to be able to read your handwriting and be ready to spend some money on the pens.

I like the flexibility and simplicity of having one notebook for all occasions. I am enjoying the convenience of being able to erase mistakes as I am taking notes and erasing a whole page after I have either digitally saved the image or completed the issue. Writing in the notebook with a Frixion pen incredibly smooth.

I take tons of notes outside for work. I thought this would be a great way to keep them all. The problem is the pens don't write very well on this notebook and when they do, don't let the notebook sit in the sun. If it warms up the ink disappears. And after losing hours of work I did some research and it seems if the notebook gets cold EVERYTHING shows back up. The app is the best thing about this notebook. If I could get cheap 100 page notebooks that work with this app I would be happy.

Overall I liked the Rocketbook. I am left handed and I haven't had any problems with wiping the ink, note however that I don't write large amounts of text continuously so there is time for the ink to settle. The only thing I didn't like is the notebook front and back covers. They look cheap. I would have loved that at least the back cover was a hard cover.

The item itself is good /cool!
But...
...the quality of service is debatable.
Due to this specific experience, I would be hesitant to recommend massdrop to someone. Due to the poor packaging (just a miserable plastic bag) the item arrived with some noticeable damage. Nobody would like to see something like this after a month-long wait...
