That was unfortunate.
Plan B: Get Kit Harrington to dodge press around Belfast in a few more of these until the requests tick up.

Hi, The model is about 5'11'' but he only wear the M size. I am around 5'8'', and I usually wear S or M size of other band. So I was wondering if this band has a large size than other band. So I guess I should try XS rather than S or M, am I correct?

I would go true to size. XS would probably be too small.
Check the product measurements I provided and see how those compare to shirts you own, that's the best way!

I just joined with the Marine/Ecru and the Persan/Ecru! The 47cm chest measurement threw me off until I realized it was seam to seam ^^'

the description says crew neck, but looks more like boat neck to me ala russian telnyashka. anyone know if it is like telnyashka in that it doesnt have a proper frontside and backside? trying to imagine how it will fit before i commit

Some people call it a crew neck, but I agree that the term boat neck is more accurate (most people just don't know what that is). I will say that the boat neck is less aggressive than what you would see on the Meridien II or an old school telnyashka (this is one of the updates for the Moderne).
The back of the collar is higher than the front (as is normal for most garments), so it's not symmetrical. Here are some pics:

Any chance you could post equivalent sizes for women? Or dimensions for all sizes. Love St. James!

Sigh, I think if next drop we can ask the supplier to lessen the minimum number of units, we can make this drop take off. These look stunning.

Say bonjour to the bretons!
I'm very pleased to bring Saint James to Massdrop and offer an updated version of their Meridien that is not yet available in stores! Saint James is the OG company for this style of french clothing, and nobody does it better. The quality is unmatched and the style is legendary. Their Meridien breton is a classic, and the new updated fit does two great things; first, it improves the fit though the sides (less boxy) and it makes the boatneck less aggressive (I know some men that are uncomfortable with the intense neck shape on the Meriedien II).
Due to the pre-release nature of this drop, there is a wait time associated with this order, as we will submit this order straight to the factory in France when the drop ends (to help sweeten the deal, we're offering free international shipping). For those that are worried the seasonality of this garment, I wouldn't be too concerned. The carded cotton that these are made of is fairly heavy, and is much better suited for fall than summer in my opinion.
Now the real question - should I get marine/ecru or ecru/marine? I can't decide...
