Also got mine in Canada, tracking still not updated.
Liner sounds like a cheap plastic bag, really wish I had not ordered this because I hate that sound.
The ones I ordered arrived in Canada today. The wife and I are very pleased with them as far as fit and finish (haven't tested but are long-time SealSkinz users). The membranes are a little noisy but I don't think that will be a problem, even as part of our cold-weather sleep systems. I feel I've gotten another great value via Massdrop!
I have a question about the tracking. It was accepted by Asendia in PA, shipped to NY where it says it was handed off to USPO, then 4 days later it says it arrived in Canada. That was a week ago and it has not updated since.
The tracking number does not show up with USPS or Canada Post. That was a week ago and it says expected delivery was 4 days ago. Is there any other way of tracking to see if it was held up in customs? If it was handed to the postal service it is quite odd that the tracking number is not showing up on USPS or CP websites.
i live in the PNW and do a bunch of outdoor stuff like sking, mountianeering, ice climbing, ect i've tried various waterproof beanies on the market and they are all crap expect this brand and this one random Adidas hat i found (clima-something or other) these hats are typically much more expensive and this is actually the cheapest i've ever seen one of these..... if you've ever shopped for a weatherproof beanie before you'll notice the choices are slim to start with and beyond that you'll notice the cheaper ones have this plastic type layer inside of them that's not done very well, the water proof liner thing tends to shift around and just not feel very supple.... the seal skinz and the addias hat both DON'T have this problem, they are great beanies and i love having in the gear stash, as you guys know the wind and the rain just suck the heat right out of you, these hats prevent that, makes such a big difference going from a traditional cable knit beanie to one of these in adverse conditions and let me just say the wind blocking ability here is almost a bigger selling point imo than the actual waterproof portion here, massive difference in overall warmth of my whole body just having something on my head that keeps the wind off, so whether bombing down a ski run once the lights have come on or standing in belay under a melting waterfall these beanies have been great for me.
TheIzzardKingJust put a hood on? LOL
I mean come on if it's raining and you have a beanie on your neck is still going to get wet, what is the actual point of this product?
