There are a few questions I have about this which I am trying to get clarified. Mainly asking about LED support.
Still, like I've mentioned elsewhere I am really stoked about this simply because it is a community designed product, and community is the best part about this community. People often gripe about "cheap Chinese crap" being sold, yet when a community designed product arrives, price is a complaint. Duh, a custom designed product will cost more than a mass produced one. The little guy will never be able to compete price wise with Vortex or KBP.
There are also huge benefits to building a keyboard, over buying one. You'll be able to install sip sockets, and tune your switches (stickers, spring swap, lube, etc) before putting it together, to create a board right up to individual desires. The top plate will allow you to continue to tune your keyboard after assembly (as long as you use sip sockets if you go wtih LEDs) with ease and no soldering.
livingspeedbumpMost complaints about pricing I see here refer to the deductions when opting out of some options and the international shipping (white fox: 7$ / sentraq: 32$)
livingspeedbumpIt doesn't support LEDs as mentioned in previous reddit posts.
I do like how hard the community work to provide new things, but even comparing to other similar PCBs, the price tag is high for a basic starter kit. And I'm not comparing to Vortex or KBP.
