This is a very nice looking bag from the outside, and full leather at the price many places charge for canvas and leather....but, this would concern me a bit:

With no spacing between the slots, and pleated pockets for the handles, you're going to have to be damn careful when rolling and unrolling. I know this is a common pattern, but I'd rather see the pockets be tighter and let the leather stretch to the handles, so they're snug in their dedicated spots, not able to shift side to side or tilt at an angle Also, serious question, as I've never used one of these: Do people really store them tip down, like in the first couple of pics? How does that not cut through the leather and stitching over time?? I know the description said 'suede leather, durable, stands up to your sharpest blades' (paraphrasing), but....umm, the blades i use specifically for cutting leather, well, those ARE some of my sharpest blades lol

Thanks Grega Just to clarify, i figured they'd be nice and snug once rolled up, was just worried about the proximity during the rolling and unrolling process. What you're saying makes sense though, and I suppose it should've been obvious. Only a few of the knives I've owned have had their own sheaths/sayas, many more haven't, so I didn't think about that as being expected for storage solutions like this. If it were me, I'd reconsider the tip down, naked blade pics then, if that's a risky way to store them. You know eventually someone is gonna stick a knife right through the bottom, then be like "well wtf? that's how the picture showed it" 🙄 Anyway, thanks for elaborating. And again, that's a sharp looking case.... Pun intended 🤣
KavikYeah, not many knives come with their own sayas.. We were already thinking of creating some low cost protection cases for the knife roll, just to make sure that the knives are always safely stored. We see that some chefs use the knife roll without the sheath and so far we haven't received any issues, but you never know. I agree with the first photo, I'll ask Drop to remove it (it will have to be for the next drop, Im sure they are very busy these days, as we are..:/)
