Im sorry, but this is just another example of a lame drop... You can purchase this on Amazon for the same price when the shipping fee is added) ... have it your hands in a few days AND a great return policy.. WHY would anyone purchase this here... Im not trying to be an ass but I joined Massdrop hoping to actually get a deal...

squareboxIt is a really useful site, lets you know if a "deal" is truly a deal. Amazon is a large enough marketplace that its price history is fairly representative of the market overall (for anything they sell that is). If I see a price regularly popup cheaper on Amazon and I can wait it out.. I do. If Massdrop is as good or better than the regular sales you see in the camelcamelcamel price history for Amazon... I jump on the drop.

Is titanium non-stick of a sorts? Will I be able to cook one these without food sticking like in stainless steel?

My comment about thickness wasn't about durability, but about reduction of hotspots. I'd prefer to cook with a friend's kit before buying one of my own just to see how it behaves on the fire.

jalvaniYes , of course. Titanium gets hot spots especially if you use something like a MSR Pocket Rocket or similar device. As I'm sure you know this kit is really designed for backpacking and not traditional camp fires. IMHO if you cook things beyond the rice and noodle fare and are in to things like sauces and complex food preparation this may not be for you.

i just bought an anodized aluminum set for 50$, at 65$ this is very cheap for a full Titanium set!

Are you confusing the potential $65 cost if enough people buy as opposed to the $70 it is now? If enough people purchase, then yes the final price will be $65. If no more people buy, then the final price will be $70.

I can't believe you had to cancel this drop AFTER we all had paid for it. You should sort details out with the vendor BEFORE you launch a drop. Not have us wait and then refund us the money if you can't get the vendor to ship the stuff that YOU put on sale here. This was the last time I buy stuff from this website. You still have too many quirks to work out. Good luck.
