for those asking, the green ones on this drop are the medium thickness (1.6mm).
in my experience, best used for casual sneakers only.
If you actually need metatarsal support and want to use these for boots, I recommend getting the blue model (3.2mm thick).
for anything else, the thin ones (orange) are the most versatile imo. especially for running shoes and other sports oriented footwear such as football, ski and cycling.
and if you dont, well.. I still don't get why we keep having this drop and not the regular Sole Active footbeds, especially since this drop does not feature any of the other available choices for thickness mentioned above.

Do these function any differently than the Sport ones I just ordered? Thanks!
UPDATE: I have since received both the Sport and the Work footbeds. I have yet to sense a real difference between the two. How would these Active Met ones be any different? I'm finding that much depends on the shoes you put them into. The same footbed can feel very different from one shoe and the next. The prominent arch is what I feel from both. Apart from that they might as well be the same footbeds.
I'm confused on how to interpret sizing... since only available in whole (not half) sizes, should I be interpreting from the size chart that these are UK sizes, which list only whole numbers? I'm a 7.5, and I guess the presumption based on description info is that one would order a half size up and trim if needed. This doesn't leave me having much confidence that the arch will fit where its supposed to for me.
"Doesn't look like anything to me."

7.75 domestic shipping rate and over 12 international.
i bought boots and heavy items here that shipped for less than half the price!
LQDForceFunnily enough I asked the manufacturer about their absurdly high shipping rates and received a polite enough reference to "buy over $99, get $30 off shipping"... which reduced their shipping by half. :/
Drop might only be able to reduce that so much; Sole might just be crazy.
timothomC width for women’s and D width for men’s. It will fit in almost all regular width shoes; KEEN, Merrell, Nike, Adidas, Saucony, New Balance, Danner, Vasque, Oboz, etc.
Is this model for low-volume, med-volume, or high-volume shoes? Meaning this; insoles for low-volume shoes don't add much height and can be used in running shoes or casuals like Vans. The ones for high-volume shoes are thicker and would overcrowd a low-volume shoe like a Vans sneaker, but work great in shoes like hiking shoes and work boots.
When I see the SOLE brand at REI, the packaging says what it is for. Can you show us the packaging?
ScottThis is the medium volume and is the same contrustion and materials as the Performance Medium except this has a molded in met support as well. This will fit the broadest range of typical shoe and foot volumes, great as a replacement for most factory insoles without changing the shoe’s fit while adding support.
This is the same as the SOLE Performance footbed, which is cork, with a metatarsal support built into the shape. This footbed has the same support as the Active EVA footbed but has a cork shell for superior moldability.
