In terms of size, the Spyderco RockJumper splits the difference between the company’s best-selling Delica and Endura 4—a sweet spot for many. Designed by iconic knifemaker Sal Glesser, the RockJumper has all the hallmarks of a lightweight Spyderco workhorse, including the bi-directional FRN scales, a four-way ambidextrous pocket clip, and Spyderco’s signature thumb hole. Where the knife takes a slight departure is on the transition between the handle and blade, which is much smaller, therefore maximizing cutting edge and minimizing overall length. Fitted with a VG-10 wharncliffe, the RockJumper offers excellent control behind the edge, and the lockback mechanism will hold through task after task.
