Crafted using traditional Japanese dye-making techniques, these Takeda Jimuki inks are inspired by the beautiful scenery and culture of Kyoto—once the nation’s capital city. Water based and presented in 40-milliliter glass bottles, they offer excellent flow and are resistant to feathering and bleed-through.
Note: This drop is for three bottles of ink. At checkout, you’ll have your choice of colors: Adzuki-iro (red bean), Aonibi-iro (blue-gray), Hisoku (secret color), Imayou-iro (safflower red), Koke-iro (wasabi green), Nureba-iro (raven black), or Yamabuki-iro (kerria flower yellow).
Takeda Jimuki is based in the Japanese city of Kyoto and uses traditional dyeing techniques dating back to the Heian era (794 to 1185 AD). A joy to write with, these beautiful water-based inks are named after places in ancient Japan.
