These are really nice earbuds, but there is literally no support for them. When I switched to a new phone, they didn't want to pair; I followed the directions in the manual, and I was able to get them to pair with the new phone, but they no longer pair with each other.
I reached out to Drop, and they said "it's after 30 days, we won't do anything for you"; they wouldn't even give me a support email until I sent them several messages.
Once I finally got a support email for TFZ, they ignored several emails before finally replying with just "read your manual" - which, again, I did.
If you only ever use it with one phone, you'll probably be fine, but after that, it's a crapshoot at best.
LordDyranI had a similar problem and did finally solve it - by following the complete reset procedure in the manual. Tho not before trying other things first, then re-reading the manual to find what I'd missed. It's in the "Pairing" section, along with instructions for pairing only one earbud, etc. As I remember, the duration of the button presses is crucial - if it says "for 5 seconds" get out a watch. I remember making the problem worse before I finally fixed it. I hope you get them working with your other phone.
granitestateofmindThanks! I'll give that a try.
Mind you, I still think a company needs to stand by its product, and a reply like yours would have left me *much* less unsatisfied.
granitestateofmindHi, I have the same problem, but lost my manual. Seems quite hard to find online without ending in dubious places... Would anyone be kind enough to share the reset instructions here? Thanks!
Nepenthesswitch both left and right off first, then press and hold the "o" for around 10 secs until you see two consecutive purple lights up. And put them back to box. Forget these buds from your phone and take them out again from the box, let them paired up before connecting to your phone again.
