How do you carry your keys? At the end of a lanyard, always bulging from your pocket or swinging awkwardly from your neck? Just in your pocket, like a regular Joe? Clipped to a carabiner for easy attachment to your belt loop? However you hold your keys, we’re here to say: you’ve got it all wrong. Introducing the Ti2 Para-Biner, a unique multi-tool disguised as a sleekly styled key ring.
We’re all about function over here, so the more uses you can squeeze into one device, the happier we are. With over five uses (depending on the model) in a less than pocket-sized package, the recently funded Kickstarter project, the Ti2 Para-Biner, has us just about over the moon. The body is constructed out of grade 5 titanium (6Al4V) for industrial strength durability, as is the billet gate, so no matter how many times you hook, unhook, or (heaven forbid) drop the Para-Biner, it’ll stay at the same high level of utility.
Backing up the premium build quality with smartly selected tools, both the PB-5 and PB-7 (+ $20) include a combination Para-cinch and bottle opener that tightens your paracord and pops open your brews, a Para-cleat to tie down your gear, a bit driver that fits 1/4” hex bits, and a flathead screw driver that functions as a pry bar or a box opener. Following from their names, the PB-5 features five wrench openings for the SAE version (1/4” to 3/4”) or metric version (8mm to 19mm). The PB-7 features seven wrench openings for the SAE version (1/4” to 15/16”) or metric version (8mm to 24mm). Going one step further, the PB-7 boasts a para-pulley to facilitate directional change and reduce friction in your paracord. You can choose between the PB-5 or PB-7 (+ $20) during the checkout process.
