I really like these. The build seems great for the price. My previous ear buds were Sennheiser CX300-B which lasted me a long time, but these sound much better, and are build a lot better. I don't have experience with expensive IEMs, but then again these aren't expensive so what do you compare them to? I only wish they came with more replacement foam tips. Those silicon ones make them sound horrible. Also, wish the cable had some tactile marking for left and right as I can't figure it out in the dark.
  • Edit: Actually they do! I didn't notice it, but the left one has a small nib that the right one doesn't. You can just feel it with a fingernail in the dark.

DoriroDYou shouldn’t unplug the cable every time you use them. You’ll wear out the connector. FYI the NiceHCK $11 cable works nice with the T2. Surprised you, think the silicone tips don’t sound good. I feel the foam tips kill the treble. I needed to make spacers for the nozzles to give my silicone tips more reach otherwise I get no seal. These are un touchable by most iems in the under $100 price bracket. I wish they went with a more ergonomic housing that was an easy fit. FYI cover the nozzle vent with 3M micropore tape and the bass improves and these become truely amazing! Bass doesn’t bleed into the mids at all showing how good these DD really are.

Assimilator702It's a minor thing, I'm not unplugging the cable, I'm just trying to figure out which is the left and which is the right one in the dark (can't see the color). Just saying it would be nice to be able to tell by feel (probably seeing impaired might have the same issue). I'll probably end up putting something on it.

Assimilator702Do you have a picture of your micropore tape alteration? I've never messed with that kind of thing and I want to get it right the first time!

Garrett57No pic at the moment since those things are so small. Cut a small piece of tape 1/8" wide with a pair of small fingernail scissors. Then cut that in 1/2 into roughly a square. Center the tape over the hole.... press into place. Very simple and impossible to mess up. If you can't get it right and end up with tape residue clean with rubbing alcohol and try again. I also took a pin and carefully poked a hole through the tape over the hole to give the driver more breathing room. The bass is so strong with the tape a slight reduction is ok. Just be careful doing this since you're poking the pin into the hole but you only want to puncture the tape and not go any further than necessary. I can get a pic later if you want.
