Excellent knife for the value!
At first I was sceptical with the kiritsuke chef's knife but when I received it I was blown away with the quality and feel of the knife. I know my knives and use Shun knives in my kitchen for daily cooking. This knife is now sharing the block with the Shuns!

Steel strength and flexibility are excellent for a kitchen knife, and sharp as a razor. Good size chef knife, and not too large either. Feels very good in the hand. Also, it is amazing cutting with a sharp knife again.

Beautiful craftmanship
I don't know much about knives, but the craftsmanship is beautiful. The blade quickly dulled overtime for me, but that might be because my lack of knowledge on how to maintain knives.
