TheBlackKnightOK, this should be explained in the FAQ but I'll give it a shot. The people who are getting their keyboards are from the last drop. You can't join this drop right now because it's not active. Think of Massdrop like a big group buy site. Once the drop is open, there's a limited time window where people can join in to buy the product. Once that time expires, Massdrop submits all of the orders to the company. That's pretty much where the discount comes from since Massdrop is essentially buying from the company in bulk, lowering the cost. The company then sends out the order to Massdrop, who then ships it out to all the individual customers.
Once this drop opens up again, you can join in and place an order for a keyboard. Until then, the only thing you can really do is hit the request button to let Massdrop know that there's a demand for the product and wait patiently. And one big thing is that you can't expect Amazon Prime shipping speed here which a lot of people don't seem to understand. MD is about saving money above all else.
