Still no Bluetooth device switching? Why is it that Royal Kludge & Obins seem to be the only ones doing this in the mechanical world?

Komplexx2That bluetooth is 3.0 Only so you are going to have major latency.

AntonyFaragLooks like you have problems reading https://www.adafruit.com/bluefruit also besides that there wouldn't be major latency.

NatethI thought the VB87M lets you switch between bluetooth devices with Fn + right or left. I can do it with mine at least

KlarWhen you say switch devices, do you mean you can instantly switch to a previously paired device, or do you mean it goes into pairing mode and you have to pair again?

NatethSwitch between devices. Was switching between my phone and my laptop. Would occasionally switch connections without me meaning to but it happened fairly rarely. I only tried it once though since it's pretty limited on what you can do on a phone

Komplexx2trust me I am well aware of the Adafruit products the EZ key is 2.1 actually. if you want 4.0 you need to get the Feather 32U4 Bluetooth LE. and yes you will have latency with that build and the EZ key. 2.1-3.0 have a latency between 150-450 ms. that is anywhere from 1/6 to almost half a second.

AntonyFaragYou keep sticking your foot in your mouth. It's 4.0. Either way it's irrelevant to the conversation and you apparently have some type of [moderated] issue.

Komplexx2from the description page. "Warning! Your computer/tablet/phone must have Bluetooth v2.1 or higher" that tells you the bluetooth standard the Device its self runs at

the very nature of a bluetooth device is it won't work with any bluetooth computer that is lower then the standard it runs at. no keyboard mouse headphone or any other such device can connect to a computer with a lower bluetooth version than what the device carries. you do no understand bluetooth if you think I am the moron.

AntonyFaragI'm not going to keep arguing with an idiot, at least not too much. Since you can't read English well I'll help you. I never said what module I was going to use. I showed Nateth a video link and said I'm working on making my own using the guy's tips. Not once did I say I'm recreating his project. English must be too fucking hard for you.

Komplexx2um you are the idiot who kept thinking it was 4.0 after i kept proving that the device in the video was 2.1. you were using the video as an example and i was pointing out an error. in the past in this forum post i have described using the feather as that is the only compatible 4.0 device that a keyboard can be made of. as it is a different board though his video would be next to useless for you as the pin-outs and everything are completely different between the 2 boards.

AntonyFaragIt doesn't matter what is in the video. That had nothing to do with my original comment. You're just a damn troll who likes to be contrary online. Pointing out an error? No you didn't. No one spoke about which bluetooth version until you. I never said I was going to use EZ-key. Seriously get lost.
