Another comment on this: I'm an avid biker who bikes 1-2k miles a year on mountain, cyclo and road bikes. I actually think this tool is rad, but, for my money, which is important to me, I purchased the Topeak Pocket Rocket Ratchet on Amazon. It's the same price as this exactly but it comes with a very well-made chainbreaker and it has a torque mini ratchet instead of just a L-shaped hex key you put bits into. Just something for people to think about.

If you've ever got a chainbreaker, doesn't matter which one, it's pretty much gonna double the tool weight. Chainbreakers can't be carbon or plastic, they have to be made out of metal as far as I know.

Here is my review of this tool and why I have one for every bike since 2015.
It includes excellent tire levers that, as far as I have seen, are indestructible. I've been able to tube tight tubeless gravel tires during a race without issue and even resorted to using them at home when my Park levers broke installing a MTB tire.
Unlike fold out style tools, you can take exactly the bits you need for the particular bike. I've had other multi tools (crank bros, I'm looking at you) that seem to have a billion tips but still not had the right one to fix what I needed. These are the same bits that fit cordless screwdrivers so are readily available in any type you need.
The adapter can be attached to either end of the allen wrench, so it can work in tight spaces on the short side or deeper reach on the long side and the rest of the tool does not get in the way of turning the bolt. Also, it is easy to remove bits from the holder and use the tool with full finger gloves on (you can push the bits out of the holder with the tool using the holes on the underside).
There is nothing sharp sticking out that could damage a tube or jersey pocket. As a matter of fact, for road and gravel tubes, it ends up being the same length as a folded tube and can fit nicely right next to it in a tiny bag such as the small Lezyne Road Caddy, which I use on my road and gravel bikes (see image of my gravel setup, there is a wet wipe under the tube for cleanup and tire boot material).
Note, there is no chain breaker. What I did was took the chain breakers from my old fold out tools and put them in my saddle bag with a spare link (just the breaker part from the disassembled tools, the rest can go in the bin). Then, the allen wrench can slide into the hole that held the breaker onto the tool for leverage.
One downside, you could drop a bit and lose it. It's never happened to me but, it could happen...

Or you can get a Park Tool multi tool, that is smaller, stronger, and more versatile. Patronize your local bike shop.

DirttraxxSmaller and stronger in what sense? Apart from the MT-1, all of Park's offerings use short bits bolted through a wide frame. This tool should give better leverage due to the long handle and lack of the bits swivelling on their mountings - and you won't have to deal with trying to rotate the frame through tight spaces. I have the similarly-priced MTB-3, and while it has more tools on it, there are reports of quality issues that don't make me look forward to having to use it in a dire situation. This is a lot simpler and I would definitely bring it on short rides or as part of a bigger kit.

Really nice tool but I just don't understand the valuation. The Topeak Ratchet Rocket offers more at a similar price point (not on sale). And for that reason, I'm out.

I get that. It's a 100g difference. But, it's expensive. It would be interesting to see Topeak make a version without the ratchet or chainbreaker. Odds are the MSRP would be under $30. $48 MSRP is crazy.

Personally I love this tool. It's small and light. It comes with a lot of functionality. Bits are standard screwdriver bits which you can get in any hardware store, so if you need something that doesn't come by default you can customize your set. Tool is nicely designed and without sharp corners anywhere so there's no chance of damaging my reflective west and other things I keep in my bag.
Every now and then I use it on the road and I am yet to run into situation where I need to adjust something and this tool doesn't provide that functionality. Only missing part is chain breaker which might be a bummer if you are MTB rider. For me on long distance road rides this is not an issue as I take good care of my chain, replace it diligently every 5000 kilometers. I am yet to have my first chain break.
Even though you can probably get a cheaper tool I really like this one and so far it has proven a very reliable companion. Highly recommended.

This is my favorite MT for bikes. I have 2.
Lots of leverage, easy to use, no stupid handle to get in the way, light, you can customize which bits you carry if you want.
The only thing missing is a chain breaker, which i add separately anyway.
note: in the us for 3usd more you can get it prime on amazon, so thats not a great deal
